Most golf apps are built to hold your attention, not to serve your round. They fill the screen with advertising, make you work at the moments you should be playing, and can lose a scorecard when the signal drops.
Six Deep was built by a golfer who tried every one of them, to do the opposite. It records the holes that define a round, keeps that record from being lost, and shares it with a private membership of golfers rather than the public.

Tap a hole once for a birdie and twice for an eagle, then play on. A round saves on taps alone, so keeping the record never slows the group down.
Every hole is saved on your phone first, in two places, then backed up to your member account. A round in progress keeps its own recovery copy, so a dropped signal or a closed app does not cost you a hole.
Save a round and its Round Card opens: the course, your score, your birdies and eagles and the holes they came on, set as one image. Choose what it shows, then keep it or send it on. It goes nowhere until you do.
Birdies per round, your scoring month by month, and every sub-par hole you have played. The Birdie Card follows each course: birdie every hole there over your career and the course is tamed.
Search by course, club, city or designer, or open the courses nearest you. If a course is missing, submit it from the app.
Full Scorecard Mode records strokes, fairways, greens and putts on every hole, with your score to par kept for each nine. Enter your strokes and every ace and albatross is named on the card.
Private messages between members, encrypted in storage with attachments included, and My Bag, a registry of the clubs you carry.
Playlists for round day, from the warm-up to the drive home, opened in your own Spotify. A new mix arrives every Monday.

There is no app store. Six Deep installs from your browser in about a minute, opens full screen and works offline once it has loaded. Updates wait until you close the app, so it never reloads during a round.
