The Birdie Card

Have you birdied every hole at your course?

Not in one round. Across every round you have played there. You already know the two or three that still owe you.

Mark this round's birdies, post it, and play another. The card does not reset.

How the card counts
  • A hole counts the first time you log a birdie or better on it. Eagles, aces and albatrosses count too.
  • Every round adds to the card, including nine holes or a round you did not finish.
  • Each course keeps its own card, and a nine-hole course is tamed at nine.

    Every birdie, eagle and ace here is logged by the player who made it, and kept on that player's word. What we ask in return is simple: respect. For the game. For your scorecard. For the company you keep.

    A Founding seat is never sold at a checkout. Each one is admitted by application, and every application is read by the committee.

    Questions

    Who can join?

    Anyone 18 or over. Player and Scratch start the moment you pay. Founding is by application, with no application fee, and Founding numbers are issued privately.

    Does Scratch require a handicap?

    No. Scratch is the name of a plan, not a standard you have to meet. It adds the full scorecard. Nothing at checkout asks for or checks a handicap. The Founding application does ask for your current handicap.

    How do I install it?

    SIX DEEP is a web app, not an App Store download. On iPhone, open app.sixdeep.golf in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, open it in Chrome and tap Install app. From then on it opens full screen from its own icon.

    What is the difference between the plans?

    Player logs birdies and eagles hole by hole, keeps a Birdie Card for every course and earns badges. Scratch adds the full scorecard (strokes, fairways, greens, putts), round analytics and House Mixes. Founding adds The Clubhouse and a number on the Register, and is by application.

    Monthly or annual?

    Player and Scratch, either. Founding is annual only.

    How do I cancel?

    Online, any time: Manage Dues in the app opens your billing account, or write to the desk at membership@sixdeep.golf. Under the Terms (section 7.2), canceling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then. A Founding number returns to the Register when the membership ends.

    Can I take my data with me?

    Every member exports every round from the app, as CSV or JSON, whenever they like. A member whose membership ends keeps export. Any member can ask the desk for a copy at membership@sixdeep.golf.

    What does “in good standing” mean?

    Your dues are current (a declined card fixed within the grace period counts), you have not canceled or let the membership lapse, and it has not been ended for a breach of the Terms. A member who leaves and returns rejoins at the rate open at the time, and is reviewed again.

    What works today, and what is On the Horizon?

    On the Horizon means included in a plan but not open yet. Today: round logging, the Birdie Card, badges, a growing course database, member messages, the full scorecard and analytics at Scratch, and The Clubhouse and Reciprocal Play for Founding members. On the Horizon: private member events and the bespoke capsules, and from 2027, the SIX DEEP Cup.
